Hello world!

To me, music isn’t merely something to fill silence but a visceral experience of feeling alive and processing the moving parts inside myself and outside of me too. I am attracted to sounds that offer an emotional weight, thick with ideas that penetrate you in the chest and provoke thought. I tend to lean towards alternative/indie sounds; however, this doesn’t necessarily have anything to do with what is trending or popular. I am after pure rawness, creative energy, and story.

My interests are toward music that provides a rush combined with emotional weight, songs that are heavy but also beautiful and all at once, songs that make you feel a little better and a little broken at the same time. I am into music with layers, moving through dark softly moody space into something uplifting and powerful. Contrast keeps my interest.

What I really appreciate is original voice and sound from artists; something that is truly the artists researchers. I respect and embrace creativity that is unique /sincere compared to other artists’ work, and not something that feels like it has just come straight out of the box. I appreciate sounds that are a bit unrefined and possibly a little haunting or even unsophisticated, unfiltered/ raw if you’ll allow me, but like all the comments I want things that feel honest as well.

I’m also a fan of discovering hidden tracks, the ones not everyone knows yet but deserve way more attention. Those songs feel personal, like they were made just for moments when you need to escape or connect on a deeper level.

Besides my love for alternative and indie sounds, I’m also big on rap, trap, drill, and metal. There’s something about the energy in these genres that just fires me up. Whether it’s the raw storytelling and wordplay in rap, the heavy beats and vibe of trap, or the gritty, intense flow of drill — I respect how these styles bring realness and power to the table. Metal hits differently too, with its aggressive sound and full-on intensity, giving me that adrenaline rush and release. These genres balance each other out in my playlist, mixing emotion with hard-hitting beats and sounds that never let me zone out. I’m all about that diversity — it keeps things fresh and speaks to all sides of who I am.

At the end of the day, my playlist reflects me — my ups, my downs, my grind, and my passion. It’s not about fitting in, it’s about finding music that speaks my truth and keeps me moving forward.
